Responsibilities:
Responsible for Selling Tour & Travel, Seasonal Sporting Events and current repeat accounts.
Responsibilities center on inside sales and marketing of hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and banquets.
Processes group sales contracts and maintains effective communication with group leaders to ensure a seamless and satisfactory guest experience.
Booking, detailing, coordination and follow-up of all catering functions.
Is responsible for accuracy in room rates, inventory of groups and will communicate with Front Desk Manager.
Is responsible for accurate payment arrangements for group and meeting rooms and posting all banquet event orders on a daily basis.
Maintains an effective file management system and trace system.
Meet and greet groups each morning to assure everyone is satisfied with their meeting room setup and review their function sheet for any last minute changes.
Coordination with kitchen staff and banquet department for proper set-up and follow through of all functions and last minute changes.
Provide Director of Sales & Marketing with complete lost business and cancelled business reports as requested.
Create and maintain professional collateral and correspondence.
Oversee the completion and distribution of all function sheets, change sheets, and other pertinent correspondence to other appropriate departments on a timely basis.
Facilitate a complete and well-prepared Function Sheet meeting every Thursday.
Follow-up with clients via phone and letter after function for purpose of thank you and feedback on function.
Telemarketing calls to past and prospective clients for future business on a weekly basis.
Participates in training of the front desk staff to ensure a consistent and thorough approach to group and meeting sales.
